The sun was shining as we welcomed our valued Mack customers to join us in celebrating Mack’s 100th year in Australia at South Central Truck & Bus in late November this year.
Thanks to many of our customers agreeing to have their Mack’s involved on the day, our guests were greeted with an impressive display of models which spanned over Mack’s remarkable 100 year history.
Inside a delicious grazing table and prosciutto carving station impressed many, thanks to Indulgence Food Design, and our guests also enjoyed stunning canapes throughout the afternoon whilst enjoying tunes from a Joe Amputch.
The formalities for the afternoon began with general manager, Bill Lane welcoming our guests and giving a brief history about South Central Truck & Bus’ long relationship with Mack Trucks Australia.
Dean Bestwick, Mack Trucks Australia Vice President was then welcomed and provided us with a special insight into their rich history in Australia and Mack’s 100th Anniversary truck.
Bill then welcomed Paul Crawford, CMV Group Managing Director to the stage, who thanked our guests for joining us in celebrating this special milestone.
Along with Bill, Dean and Paul, the South Central Truck & Bus team were very excited to finally reveal and deliver a very special truck to long time Mack enthusiast and South Central Truck & Bus customer, Vic Saccoccio of Adelaide Kerbing. After initially viewing his new Mack coming off the production line in Queensland earlier in the year, he was extremely excited to finally have the keys to an impressive limited edition, 100 years Mack Trident! Safe to say the reveal and handover was a highlight for us and many of our guests.
Thank you to all of our guests who joined us for the afternoon and for helping us celebrate Mack’s 100 Years in Australia! Special thanks again to our valued customers who helped to ensure we had an impressive range of Mack’s on display for all to see and enjoy throughout the afternoon and reminisce about Mack’s long and impressive history in Australia.
